In 1988, Fireside Corner expanded into a much larger location in Roseville, MN, which allowed them to showcase more hearth products in a retail setting. The expansion continued through the 90s as they acquired 6 additional stores in the Minnesota marketplace and became the largest hearth products distributor in a six state area. Fireside merged with Wisconsin-based Allied Fire Lite, owned by Ron Skoronski, in 1993, and the newly formed Allied Fireside, Inc. acquired locations in Wisconsin and Michigan, for a total of 16 locations throughout the Upper Midwest.
